Recently I went to a lovely wedding at the St Frances de Sales Catholic church in Devonport and I was really impressed by what it looks like inside and what a fantastic job the church has done and how well they look after it and how immaculate they keep it looks. I really felt I wanted to say well done to the parish.

The church is at 2a Albert Road in Devonport, Auckland, just to the right as you hit the roundabout at the Devonport end of Lake Rd

I have been in a few churches, not a lot I have to admit. Whilst it may not look particularly special from the outside inside it’s this is a real charmer. Some of the parishes in New Zealand should be deservedly proud of the way they look after and maintain their place of worship:
