Being somewhat block-a-holics and having heard that The Block 2015 was to be in Sandringham Josh  and I felt we just had to have a look see.

So far as I can tell we have the right place at the corner of Haig Ave and Refrew Ave in Sandringham in Auckland. Looking at Google maps you can clearly see the two sections have now being joined as one.

Going to the Auckland City GIS viewer it appears that 37 Haig Avenue is 774 m2 and 35 Renfrew Avenue is 726m2 giving a combine total of 1500m2. Hopefully with approximately 375 m2 each they will be able to create some cool homes.

From what I can read this will be a “fans vs faves” series which may bring the return of Jo and Damo from the last series and Pete and Andy from the 2013 series. Lets hope it is as interesting as the last, 2014, season.

Haid and Renfrew streets in Sandringham have some nicer houses and some that reflect that up until comparatively recently this was a less popular area. The houses at the other end of Haig Ave are very nice and not far away so this area has enormous potential and could well attract very good prices for polished up-market accommodation.
